CBD-Search advertisers may also take part in our Banner Exchange Service (BES), which displays additional adverts on our site and others.

While a User has sufficient credit, their BES adverts will be displayed, but if the credit runs too low, adverts will no longer be displayed until the User's credit is increased.

The BES system accepts three different types of Advert, each with different costs, and rewards.

• Large Graphics - 468x60 pixels
• Medium Graphics - 135x80 pixels
• Text Box - Title up to 20 characters, and Description up to 80 characters

All graphic files submitted must be no larger than 40K in size and must be exactly one of the dimensions specified above.

Each time an advert is displayed on any participating site, credit will be deducted from your account. The amount of credit deducted depends on the size of the advert, as follows ...

• Large Graphics - 16 displays per cent
• Medium Graphics - approx. 26 displays per cent
• Text Box - 40 displays per cent

Keeping your credit above $0.00 will guarantee that your adverts will continue to be displayed.

You may also limit how often each individual advert may be displayed each calendar month to control cost.

Credit may also be earned with this scheme. If you choose, you may display as many adverts on your site as you like. You can choose whether to display Large, Medium, or Text adverts, and can choose to display as many in what ever combination you like. Credit is awarded when an advert is clicked on (with some special conditions attached). The credits awarded are as follows ...

• Large Graphics - 1 cent per 4 valid clicks
• Medium Graphics - 1 cent per approx. 7 valid clicks
• Text Box - 1 cent per 10 valid clicks

The conditions that must occur to be awarded credit are as follows ...

1. The Web Browser used to click on the BES advert, can only click on each individual BES advert once per 24 hour period. Any additional clicks will not result in credit being awarded.
2. The Web Browser used to click on the BES advert, can only click on each individual BES advert 3 times per week. Any additional clicks will not result in credit being awarded.
3. The Web Browser used to click on the BES advert, can only click on BES adverts for any particular advertiser 5 times per week. Any additional clicks will not result in credit being awarded.
4. The Web Browser used to click on the BES advert, can only click on 10 individual BES adverts per 24 hour period. Any additional clicks will not result in credit being awarded.
5. The Web Browser used to click on the BES advert, can only click on 40 individual BES adverts each 7 days. Any additional clicks will not result in credit being awarded.

You do not need to be a subscriber to our site or any of our services to display our adverts, but you may only collect credit with this site if you are a user.
